Telephone Lines

Eurolink are among the telecoms industry leaders to have adopted Openreach’s new WLR3 EMP platform. This means we can supply lines to both permanent and temporary buildings, and with direct lines of communication to Openreach, can carry out line tests, check line plant availability and gain direct access to engineer appointment books. This means our response times, both for new orders and fault repair, are greatly enhanced.

Not only do you benefit from better service, our experience and product knowledge means we can maintain highly competitive pricing across the board.

Personalised and Branded Numbers

Memorable numbers can form a vital part of a company’s brand and significantly increase advertising response. We can help you select a memorable and effective number by researching those currently available.

Analogue Lines

The PSTN (Public Switched Telephony Network) is the analogue network for business and residential customers in the UK - what we normally think of as the traditional telephone network. Once used almost exclusively for voice, alarm and fax calls, this network can now also carry digital signals such as broadband, and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol).

Multi Line PSTN

Multi-line PSTN allows two or more telephone lines to be directed to one number - making them ideal for small businesses with telephone systems or line boxes.  The additional capacity allows a call to an engaged line to automatically pass to the next available, so no call need ever be missed.

New Lines

Eurolink can usually install new PSTN lines for business customers within three to five working days.  Our staff will make the arrangements for an Openreach engineer to attend your site and liaise with you.

Line Transfers

Line transfers from other providers take ten working days and will be carried out seamlessly without any loss of service.  All third party products, such as alarms and broadband, will remain on line throughout the change over

ISDN2 and ISDN2e

(Integrated Services Digital Network)

ISDN2 is a digital service that combines voice and data whilst giving faster Internet access.

ISDN2e is the equivalent of two digital telephone lines (known as channels) operating at speeds of 64kbps each. These two channels can work independently, allowing you to make a call, use the Internet or receive a fax simultaneously.

As the connection is digital, voice calls are clearer and large data files and e-mails will be sent and received more quickly and securely.

Channels (lines) can be added in pairs, and DDI’s (Direct Dial In) can be added either as a single number or in blocks of ten. This allows individual extensions their own telephone numbers - direct numbers that bypass the switchboard.  DDI facility also allows the number of telephone numbers available with each ISDN2e channel to be increased.

New Lines

Installation is normally five to ten working days subject to survey.

Line Transfers

Transfers from other providers take ten working days. Transfers are normally made on a ‘like for like’ basis so that services such as directory enquiries and calling features remain unchanged.

ISDN30

ISDN30e and ISDN30 DASS offer an advanced digital solution for larger businesses - typically where a business needs more than eight lines on the same number to be connected to a digital system.

Ideal for call centres, it provides a clear, fast connection for voice calls, can connect a number of PC's to the Internet, or provide high quality video conferencing.

New Lines

New line Installation normally takes four to eight weeks, subject to survey. A minimum of eight channels (lines) can be supplied with additional channels being opened as required. DDI’s (Direct Dial In) can be added either as a single number of in blocks of ten. This gives individual extensions - or groups of extensions - their own telephone numbers - direct numbers that bypass the switchboard. DDI facility also allows you to increase the amount of telephone numbers available for use with your ISDN30 channels.

Line Transfers

Transfers from other providers will take ten working days, we normally process these on a ‘like for like’ basis so all services, including directory enquiries and calling features, are unaffected.
