ISDN2e

ISDN2e is a digital communications service from Eurolink that gives you voice, data and faster access to the Internet are available to suit your business needs from 2 channels plus.

ISDN2e (Integrated Services Digital Network) is the equivalent of two digital telephone lines known as channels that operate at speeds of 64kbps each. The two channels can work independently allowing the user to make a call and use the Internet or receive a fax at the same time.

Because the connection is digital, there is the added benefit of increased clarity for voice calls and larger data files and e-mails can be sent and received more quickly and securely.

ISDN30e

ISDN30e is an advanced digital solution from Eurolink for larger businesses.  Where a business requires in excess of 8 lines on the same number to be connected to a digital telephone system.

It is ideal for busy call centres as it provides a clear and fast connection when making voice calls and can also be used to connect a number of pc's to the Internet or for high quality video conferencing.

Installation

Eurolink can install new ISDN2e lines in 8-20 working days and ISDN30 installations normally take between 4-8 weeks, subject to survey.  A BT/Openreach engineer will arrive and install the lines and Eurolink will arrange and co-ordinate the installation for you.

If you decide to sign up for a five year deal with Eurolink , we can offer you additional savings on your line rentals as well as your calls (compared with BT Retail).

A range of ISDN calling features are available once you have transferred your lines to Eurolink or had new ones installed. These include:

DDI (direct dial in)

Individual numbers supplied to phones, faxes and computers and are available on both ISDN2e and ISDN30e. Using DDI you can allocate individual extensions their own telephone numbers, so people can ring individuals in your company directly without going via your switchboard. DDI allows you to increase the amount of telephone numbers available for use with your ISDN2e and ISDN30e channels.

Calling Line Identity Presentation (CLIP)

Lets you see the number of the person calling before you pick up the phone, enabling you to greet people in an appropriate manner.

Calling Line Identity Restriction (CLIR)

This prevents your telephone number from being presented.

Presentation Number - Calling Line Identity

Presentation Number (PN) allows you to specify a telephone number for your Calling Line Identity (CLI) for outgoing calls, which may be different to your usual telephone number.

Connected Line Identity Presentation (COLP)

Allows you to see the number of the line that you have been connected to.

Connected Line Identity Restriction (COLR)

Restricts the access of incoming callers to your identity.
